SUPERHEROES PLAY

Children love dressing up as superheroes they see in cartoons and movies. It is an imaginative and dramatic play in that children dress up as superhero characters and use props to mimic superhero gestures and actions.

Acting out as superheroes is fun and simple play at first glance, but it can benefit children’s learning and development.

  • It stimulates imagination and creativity and the development of language skills such as storytelling and narrating.
  • Children develop and practice life skills such as problem-solving and resolving conflicts through role-play.
  • Children learn valuable moral lessons when they realize that justice and good will always triumph over evil.
  • Superhero play also requires children to exercise a lot, such as running, jumping, overcoming obstacles, etc., providing opportunities to develop gross and fine motor skills.

Today, the WIS students enjoyed participating in the superhero play. Let’s see how WIS children have dressed up as superhero characters.
